Huntin Bear With A Switch
Huntin bear with a switch might seem like an enormous and somewhat dangerous task, but it is kind of like what life feels like most days. We wake up to face the day of great possibilities, numerous challenges, immeasurable self-doubt with a goal of survival. We are armed with a small switch of determination, conviction and humor. Some days the bear looks pretty powerful and scary and other days we feel our little switch has grown into a branch of confidence and fearless attitude.
As my own bear hunt begins and I embark upon this journey to bring my dream to reality, I guess the real key for huntin bear with a switch is to chose to see the switch we have as a branch big enough for whatever task will be required.
This blog will be my journey, to take the gift of my family ranch given by the hard work of my parents and grandparents, fill it with purpose and build a lasting Legacy of integrity, leadership and love. It will take time, perseverance, learning many things I don't yet know. It will take money that I don't yet have, it will require hard work, sweat, help from friends, and failing and getting back up again and again. It will take picking up my switch each morning and choosing to know that it is big enough to hunt bear.
